    Heater Core

    Need some help here...

Are the heater cores from `64-`66 the same as `67-`70 ?

    Thanks, Mike

      Thanks Tom.
There is one on E-Bay for $32.50 start.
      Hope someone can use it.

If your old core has a hole in it, your best bet is to take it to a radiator shop and have them re-core it. I had mine re-cored last year and it was surprisingly inexpensive. The only hard part is finding a shop with the core in stock. I believe the total cost was under $30 and that included un-kinking the tubes.

The core in my van is 2 1'2" thick. I just had a local shop recore it. I tried ordering a new one but it was only 1 1/2" thick. Cost about 65 bucks.
