i want to say to all you military guys and gals past, present and future that i am one who TRULY appreciates your efforts to ensure our country stays the "land of the free"! my dad was a WW2 vet, shot behind enemy lines on a mission, sent to a POW camp and made it back here after the war ended a little thinner. without the efforts and determination of our armed forces we would all be driving toyota's or VW's and saluting a different flag, under much different conditions. on this memorial weekend i remember the first world war vets, my dad and the ww2 vets, the korean war vets, the vietnam vets, the iraq war soldiers and all who put their lives on the line to ensure us the privilige of the freedom we enjoy. remember 9/11, and thank you to all who serve or have served from the bottom of my heart. john

.....and do not forget to pause for a moment of prayer on Monday at 1500 (3:00 PM) to remember those hero's who have and still keep this country free. Freedom is not free.
