Hey So Cal Vanners, since we had a good time at the BBQ this summer, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a rally at San O'nfre this year? They have a group campground at the Bluffs that I was thinking about reserving for some time next year (beer is ok!). I know it is early, but I wanted to see what the interest level would be. Just thought I'd throw it out there.....Joe

Just a note from a NorCal vanner. I was thinking in addition to the Left Coast Rally where we try to include our friends to the north, I was thinking we could have something
just for the Calif. vanners since some of us don't like or can't take the long treks. How about a central local in Calif, where we all could make it. I was thinking[just off the top] maybe somewhere in the Fresno area where there are a few lakes. I was dissapointed that there wern't more vanners at Shasta, but I understand the time involved. Anyway, just a thought, not trying mess up what you guys already have in the works, but it would be cool to get more of us together and I'm thinking of ways we can increase participation. What do you guys think?

Good idea Dan. Were almost getting to the point where we have the Oregon, No Cal and Socal Rallys standing on their own. That is why we followed through on the BBQ down here this summer. That is also why I threw out the San Onfre trek for this summer. I still feel guilty for getting the beers dumped so I thought I would make it up by going to a state park central to the So Cal Vanners. As we saw last year it is never too early to plan these things.
