will be hosting the nevc meeting on may 17th 2008
-location planned is - AMERICAN LEGION State Forest/Campground
for the saturday meeting
Saturday night, DRIVE IN ! 1/2 mile down the same street
is one of only 2 drive ins left in CT (providing they are open in 08) this could be a fun thing for vanners to do while here
and another great chance to "get in the public eye"

in between these 2 great places is a perfect river for fishing,tubing,ect ,munchie mart and package store als

-anyone wanting to stay the week , and leave for lost memorial day from there it is a VERY convenient location to head to NY from- i think it's around 91 bucks for the week (cheaper than most hotels a night)
site # 8 and site # 9 are paid and confirmed reserved
my arrival date will be friday evening the 16th and will be at the campground until sunday
(noon check out)
meeting will be aprox 1pm vanner time SATURDAY may 17th
day passes will be provided there may be a small fee for entry)
those wishing to spend the weekend is STONGLY advised to reserve your spot NOW on https://www.reserveamerica.com/campi...&parkId=100103
the sites are going quick, 2 vans per site, 6 people max each
if camping overnight
(only downfall for reservations is you must reserve 2 nights
13.00 per night.. still cheap if you only stay one night of the 2)
no way aroud this so sorry about that.. it's a great location)
(i heard there was a vanner poker run there a bunch of years ago)
saturday night at sundown we're planning a short cruise over to
a great old drive in
more details and stuff to do as i put more together
but for now.. this is a CONFIRMED event, get your site now!
