Well, my wife and i went yesterday and picked up the newest member of the family.
Drove tp Raleigh, NC in my 82 Ford F150, pulling my ever faithful tow dolly behind. This is a 3 hour drive. After getting a little lost in Garner, NC we finally met up with Mark/Stormfox and bgan the ritual of loading a non running van on a tow dolly, not an easy thing to do. Finally after three unsuccesful attemps by me to get it on the dolly I persuaded my wife Rita (what a trooper, loves this stuff as much as me) to get in the drivers seat and do the steering/guiding on to the dolly while Mark and I pushed it , finally, we got it loaded, bid Mark farewell and headed back to Stanley, NC with our latest treasure. Made the round trip in 8.5 hours without a problem, the van Gods were with us.
I will be posting pictures.
