Looks a heck of lot better than most of the vans tht you would find up in these parts of Canada.Definately a builder.Looks like it had been a bit of a custom along long time ago...Build her and drive her......AC http://www.vcvc.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

If it was in one solid color of primer and had the headlight rings on it, I think the bids would have gone over $1000.00. How many miles is it from you? And do you get the Title and registration with it? I can see the potental, even with my eyes closed. You got a bargain.

It looks familiar.....is it in Michigan? Would you be interested in selling those rear window louvers?

What do I think? I think you got a great deal Tom. Are you starting a little collection... That van better not be in Michigan, I'll be bummed. I make 2 trips a year to Portland IN. is that anywhere near Danville?

Well its going, slowly I got Mama moved right away don't ya know. I'm in the process of building a new "hanger" for my stuff. I have even sold a couple cars. After I get back from Hershey I'll get serious hauling iron before it starts snowing. http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/cathypics2002/lst?&.dir=/Travel&.src=ph&.view=t

well just got back dragging the $100 64 home.i wished i had a digital camera to show her off.heres a little update.the van at first site looks like hell.but after the initial shock i started coming to my senses.all the doors are rough on the van so if you could imagine all the doors removed off the van the main body is actually in fairly good shape.the floors are solid except for a small area of rust out around the front of the engine compartment.on the outer body around the windshield in three spots and in two spots on the rockers.the bad part roof has two sun roofs and some warpage.the wiring a mess.it has a inline 6 (newer generation with the integral intake/exhaust)and has the hei setup.it has a turb 350 tranny and ten bolt rear end non posi.it did come with three solid condition doors and some spare parts.overall well worth the $100 for it.going to put it aside for now and work on it later.(future project).the van has super sport pin striped on both outer front doors and has some old van meet stickers mount on the pass front doors(70's)the van is currently painted in brown and appears to be on its forth or fifth repaint.fiberglass fender flares and in the back of the seats it has a wooden arch the full width of the van with american flag wrapping and a rear window louver set just in case this van"s history may be known by any of you out there.definitely a project but well worth saving this one from the crusher.
