Wideload. I recently went up to look at a 1965 cargo van in Prescot Iowa (near the south west corner of the state). basicly solid, but needed a significant amount of mechanical work (engine, tranny, brakes and alot of chasis mechanicals). The guy wanted 1500.00 over the phone but came down to 850.00 when speaking with him in person about it. If your interested, call me and Ill forward his name and number to you. Greg Coats (cell phone 314-807-8150) Saint Louis, Missouri.

Greg, go ahead and e-mail me the info on the van in Iowa. That's the closest so far, only a little over 600 miles. Thanks wideload

Wideload, just a note to say that it costs about $500.00 to have a van shipped halfway across the country. Both of my vans came from about 600 miles away. I don't know anything about this van that you are looking at, but when buying any vehicle, consider that $500.00 doesn't go very far when it comes to replacing or repairing rusty or dented up panels. I will pay to have the right vehicle shipped coast to coast if the body is in good shape. I am not trying to talk you out of buying any van, it is just something to consider.

Thanks Greg, Haven't seen any pictures or talked to the owner yet. Greg(partyvanbeagles) told me about it but hasn't forwarded the info yet. Your right shipping is a small price if its the right van. Thanks again, wideload
