still searching for a 108 sportvan deluxe to camper customize and convert to an 8 door. i am in florida and the nearer the better for shipping reasons. any condition, any price (i want a project van not a show van), any year...i just want an early to restore and customize and make my daily driver and camper. i am now obsessed with the idea of putting in a diesel and running the van off of svo/wvo and therefore freeing up gas money to spend on the van...maybe 4x4? i'm a dreamer. i figure for the amount of money most people spend on a new car i could have a beautiful trustworthy early with so much more style than some new suv or little import. a little here and a little there and before long i could be driving to alaska with a dual sport klr on the back and kayaks on the top and mountain bikes on the front. i love the "dream world" i enter when i fantasize about the perfect early.
