i have always loved the look of a 4x4 early (or any 4x4 van for that matter). all of the TV news teams up here use late model four wheel drive conversion vans to rush to the scene of breaking news.
out of curiosity, can you fill us in on the particulars of your project? what the axles and transfer case came from and particulars of the project you would advise if someone else were to build one. i would love to see photo's of the underside of the van. i definitely want a 4x4 van before i go the way of the do-do bird. if you ever decide to sell, i would love to know about it!
it looks like a great project. keep the photo's and corrspondence coming! john

Thats Bad Ass. That baby has some nice lines and appears like its sporting its original paint. That must be what I call a time warp van. Lots of potential there.
