i have seen an updated version of that there is an an older version dodge caravan running around NJ that was shortened the length of the side door, plenty of them still around and in the wrecking yards!!! with front wheel drive it should be easy just metal gas line ,brake line ,and wireing I think the long wheel base is the one to use. I must say i like the old VW's too Ken

when i was a little kid my uncle worked at a shop that specialized in air-cooled vw's. they had a shorty bus that had been shortened 48". it was no good for anything other than doing donuts in the parking lot. he said over 20mph it was VERY difficult to keep in a straight line.

Yeah Leadfoot, email me the info. I have seen other vans and cars (57 Chevy) shorten, but I think the VW MicroBus is the only one I have ever seen that looked right.

Hey Greg,

I've seen one here just like that in town for last two Mardi Gras seasons on St. Charles, about 2 blocks east of Napoleon, on the river side. I'd suspect that they'll be there again next time.
