View Full Version : Need help with valve of a Corvair van

07-31-2012, 06:59 PM
Came across a 61 Corvair panel van with no rust at all to speak of. Was sitting for about 10 years but PO got it running, fixed brakes, cleaned gas tank, replaced tires, etc. Needs a bit more TLC to get on the road but pretty much complete and running.

I have never owned a Corvair and have no idea of what the value of this van may be.
If anyone has an idea or knows where I can find this info it would be a big help.

Old and rare do not always equal big money. There has to be a demand. You can get a nice 65 Corvair Monza convertible in the Detroit area fo under $5000, my cousin bought a solid, complete, but non-running one for $1200 with a truckload of spare parts. The Corvans are even more of a niche market.

Pics would help.
