that is a cool set up
your going to need a bit more dash though
if ya want any heat

the roof set up would be sweet too, but there would be an integredy problem not having the roof skin holding the van sides together so a structural cross bar/support
rail or two would be needed

Hey thanks Lead...well I know the sell a kit that you cut the hole and screw this in and it has a ridged roof system but I was going to add more support. Yeah honisly about the dash? I didn't have a picture of the inside so I didn't know what it looked like HAHA. I was guessing. I am really serious about building this. I think I have it narrowed down to a Chevy G10 1962-67 with windows. Email me if you wanna BS kent@kltcustoms.com

the heater box is located in the pass side of the dash along with the duct work to the dash defrosters
-these vans are 1964-1970
64-66 being "1st gen" "flat glass"
67=70 being "2nd gen" or "curved windshield"
as they are mostly refered to
-then if ya wanna get really confused
there are 90" and 108" wheel base models
and G10 is 5 lug axles - g-20 is 6 lug axles
before 1964 there was corvair/greenbriar vans

You can't tell from these since it's raining, but tis is a tri-color metallic paint job. Red, Green and Sliver.

Very Sweet !! That beauty is gonna get some attention.

Of course, I've always been partial to those Clay Smith Cams stickers, so I might be a little bias.

What's the story w/ your black door handles?
Were they painted/powdercoated too?

There painted same as the body. I just ordered rolls of rubber for the doors and I'm changing the filler pipe because it was altered for a locking gas cap and no spills over at turns. Also they ranher out of gas and let her sit in that intense heat and the carb is not right now.

I chose a genuine Chevy color from a little 2006 Chevy Aveo I own. In the sun, a tri color metallic changes the black to silver, red or green depending on how the sunlight hits it. Question, when you redo the weather stripping and you buy the rubber in rolls, can the corners be cut and rejoined with a special glue to give it that custom fit?
