I don't know what it is but the picture of the primer red ford just the flatness of the paint makes the body lines just jump OUT AT YOU!!!! for that matter any early van chevy dodge or ford with a clean body and flat finish just looks great its just those classic lines ???? Ken

Had a great time. Sorry I didn't post my pics here sooner.
There were plenty of vans of all makes & years at this years run.
The Southern California Vanning Network even held their meeting there. Was real nice seeing all the vans & vanners. I had the pleasure of talking with Sharon 'Camel' Brooks. Talked for a few hours. Yeah, good time http://www.vcvc.org/ubb/smile.gif Enjoy all the pics.Brad http://public.fotki.com/Lordmodelbuilder/car_shows/19th-annual-econo-west/

I really like the stance that van has.
Not slammed but not stock ether.
Man the Cali guys have some SWEET rust free earlies out there.
Even Livewires 3rd gen is a nice rust free van.

Yeah, that Econo looks bitchin with the ET wheels on it. Seldom see those spoked wheels on anything other than a rod or race car. His widened rear wheels look awesome too.
Can't believe you posted my pic of my Chevy. It is mostly rust free. Has a little rust in the upper rear corners of rear door openings. Vans are getting harder to find for cheap though. Had to pay 151.00 for my last one http://www.vcvc.org/ubb/smile.gif Brad

Actually, that wheel combo was quite common on "Fuel Alters" or "Gassers" back in the late 60s. Extremely radical race cars.

151.00 for a rust free van.Stop it you are killing me here.......

I see as much potential in your van as I see in the Econo.(I have a soft spot for 3rd gen shorties).
What you guys call "problems" out there, are consider "easy fixes" out here.
Its a shame the government out there are hell bent on distroying as many of these "classics" that they can get there hands on.........

It is like hell when you have a govt that taxes and regulates you to death, like CA.
