there is not alot there newer than 1966 or so. i'll bet it is somewhere near an existing or closed military base.
we had an air force base in northern maine that had been there for many years close during one of the initial rounds of base closures. it was named loring air force base. i remember there was a guy that had a yard like that up there full of everything imaginable automotive. when he died he had quite a few vehicles (thousands) and the estate auctioned all of them off to the highest bidder. guys came from all over the northeast and beyond to buy.
by the looks of the topography shown in that youtube video, the guy is sitting on a gold mine.

Gold mine, YES!! 2000 cars x ?3000? each = $6,000.000 +/-
Funny thing is I recognized at least 90% of those cars, year, model, make! If that was slowed down by 10 and filmed in a modern day wrecking yard, I'd maybe get 10%.
There were impalas of every year up till '70. Didn't see anything newer. Awesome stuff!!

I currently have 8 'cars' at my house
65 Chevy van
68 Chevy van
76 Plymouth Valiant
78 Dodge TransVan
86 Dodge van
94 Ford F150
03 Pontiac Aztek
10 Chevy Camaro
That is one more than I am comfortable with, for a couple days I had 9 cars as I had bought a Honda Accord for my son that turned out to have a bad water pump. Scrapped it, too much work to change out- so I bought the Valiant.
When you start getting a full driveway, it attracts a lot of attention.
Usually from the city.
When you have acreage, and fill it with cars, it attracts attention.
Usually from gearheads and thieves.
So, you either learn to deal with people wandering all over your property, or you become the crotchety old man with a shotgun loaded with rock salt.
Either way- you end up stressing out over a bunch of cars.
That reminds me- I have to sell something....Gregg Groff

Sorry I did not click onto the link after watching the video.
Personally I would not mind being the crotchety old man with a farm full of old cars.
There looks like a row full of panel trucks .The camera man was more interested in the cars.
The owner of this collection might have been a mechanic that worked his garage when his farm work allowed.
I have 9 rides here currently. I will be thinning out the herd a bit in the near future .Its a "van thing". A life style you have to live to understand!!!!

by the looks of the farm, the owner may be a pig farmer. i can't zoom in enough to see what kind of animals are in the pens. also, lots of cultivated land for feed or sale. not far from the state capitol (fargo) either.
alot of the vehicles have been picked over too, so it may be a junkyard. i wish i was closer, i would introduce myself.
