    stamped numbers right behind the distributor

    06=June
    13= day (13th)
    PK= well, this crosses to a 283 4V V8, but PX crosses to a 230 six/powerglide combo, but for 67. P code was not used in 68. 68 230/pglide would be BF

                Double check to see if that is PK or PX at the end. My guess is you have a 230.

                  There are repair manuals out there that list the correct break down of these numbers./letters
                  Unfortunately I don't have access to these manuals any more.....
                  Its a "van thing". A life style you have to live to understand!!!!

                    I cleaned mine…..and then cleaned it again & again. Then looked at it with flashlight @ different angles. It was PH eventually, but I misread it as FK, FN FH, PN, etc till I got ALL the crud off it.
