I've sent a check....back in December, whats up? it still has not cleared. am I good? do I need to resend? start from scratch? Help a brother out.

Smiley never cashed the one I sent in December either.....You have a van therefore you're a member as far as I'm concerned. The money is supposed to help Smiley pay for the website and such. If he wants the cash he'll cash the check.

I, too, sent a check, but in February, and it still hasn't cleared. I don't mind, but I sure would like to quit doing tne extra papaerwork hunt through the checkbook I to balance my statement every month. I will continue to wait, tho. Whatever Smiley wants to do is fine.

If you have an outstanding check that is messing up your account, I would just cancel it and just writew another one later if needed. Below is a message that Smiley relayed to me back in December. I have a call in to him now, hope to hear back from him this weekend. I will update everyone ASAP.

This is a November 11th post that I put up after talking to Smiley:
"This site is secure and rock solid. Not going anywhere.
Okay, here's the poop. Smiley is doing fine, except he is working 80 hours a week. Speed is 1 year old now and doing fine as is Heather. Smiley just recently found out that his Dad let the P.O. Box lasp and the post office had it closed and started returning all letters. He said don't worry about any dues for now. He said that he feels guilty that he has not been able to join in with us for some time now and will be glad when he can again. He appreciates everyones involvement in this site and for keeping it alive."

That address looks correct Leadfoot. Oh well Im cool with it. Sure would like to make it on the VCVC map and membership, it's nice to be loved every now and then.
