I am just the opposite. I can do almost anything with steel, but not a wood worker by any means.

If there are not any rust or holes that you want or need to repair It's a process of cleaning and prepping for painting. A couple times over with some good scuff pads and wax and grease remover (get it as clean as possible). A lot of masking and/or removing anything you can that you do not want paint on.




Type of paint and primer will depend on what you want for results. There are several ways to approach it depending on what you want to spend and what you have to work with. Ask any Questions you want, I'm a garage DIY'er so some more experienced will know a lot more .
