I have not gotten the 1st one but I think every van this years is a new one.

There was one that was voted for that would have been a repeat van but we were not able to work with the files that were sent.

There are a few here like my self that do not understand the whole mega pixal deal.
Being a puter dummy I am still learning.

Using the above reasoning we did not set any rules. So far its worked out pretty good.......

A good picture of and Early Chevy Van is a good picture.........

I want to thank every body who submitted pictures and worked with my self and Duane.

A big thanks to those who are ordering calenders even though they will be a little late getting to you..........

Tim, I apologize for not being able to use the pics you sent for the calendar, but they were very small, and I'll try to explain why as I did in our emails.

The pages are built at 300dpi. This is so that when the page is printed out at 8 X 10 it looks pretty sweet. Most pics that were sent were also 300dpi ( give or take ) and looked great on their pages. The photos you sent were 96 dpi and only 3 x 4 inches. Most pics were between 1000 and 3000 kilabytes, your pics were not even 50 kilabytes. Very, very small for printing, and you can't just simply enlarge them to fit the pages. If you do the quality goes right out the window. Things that look good on a monitor and get printed out large, rarely print out good. Here is a sample of what I am trying to explain

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/bearfan1/Misc/example.jpg

Tim, I can't say for sure, but if you can get some larger pics of you van this summer, you'd be a shoe in for next years calendar since it didn't work out this year

Once again, sorry your pics couldn't be used for this years calendar.

Great! I'll be sending a check for one this week.

I know there are no rules for these, it's kind of gone on the majority vote. There are some repeats, but I'm just happy to have these availiable each year. I know there is a lot of hard work put into making this happen. Rules are okay as long they don't complicate the purity of the product. Thanks again to Joe, Duane, and all who submitted the photos.

Awsome callender

Good work!

I will wait a couple days to see if you are going to do the paypal thing. The paypal route is allot easier for the Canadian guys and alot less hastle for you too. I have heard alot of US banks take months to deal with out of country checks. Is this true?

When you say $17 ,do you mean $17 USD. I think thats about $20 CND.
http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

I will put a M.O. in the mail in a couple days if the paypal thing doesn't pan out.

And Thanks for all the effort you put into this callander project, I will remember that at least every time I change the month.

To send money with Payal, all you need to know is the email address the recipient has registered with PayPal. PayPal will take a small cut of the sent amount too.

I have this set up so close right now to keep the prices low,Pay Pal will not be an option this year.

The conversion from American to Canadian is 17.00=20.34
I came up with 17.00 because it was 1.00 more postage to send them across the border.
I did not figure in the exchange rate when I was working up the price.
Agian using Pay Pal will add close to anther 1.00 to the price of the calender.
So to keep the price down a US money order for 17.00 from a Canadian bank or Post Office will work for me........

In the past there have been a couple of repeats Taz's van made it into 2005 and 2006.
All off the calendars have had a Sea foam green window van in them but they were all owned by different people.
I think this years calendar is all newbees.
I think next year we need to start the whole process a little earlier.

JUst put a money order in the mail this morning Joe. You should see it in a week to ten days.
In Canada the postage cost more because we have to pay for "storage" until some one at the post office feels like maybe getting up and puting it on the truck that day. Its not even a joke anymore!

Just a reminder to other Canadian guys, When sending a money order to someone in the US. Tell the bank teller it will be cashed in the US. Thay will assign the order through a large US bank making it easy for it to be cashed at most any US banks. If not, the teller may presume the order will be cashed in Canada (even if it is US funds)and it will become a hastle for the recipient to cash it in the US.

The very first bunch I sent out using the site and stamps and put 237 cents worth of stamps on them.
