    Rubber gasket material?

Anyone know of a good sheet rubber product good for making gaskets? I'll begin assembly of the 1965 Chevy Van Life Size model kit soon, and am looking for something to make the gaskets around the exterior handles, mirrors, all the crap like that. At first I thought about using a bike tube, but after thinking about it I don't think it'll hold up to weather to well..

    Any ideas?

I found that a rubber roof seal made for the poop pipe on the house roof worked great for many things on the van. Gas tank straps, floor seal, ect. Its easy to find and will hold up to the elements...cheers
