VCVC Members Claim a Stack Of Plaques at the 39th!

This year's Nats brought out 30 early Chevys. What an amazing sight to see! With so many in attendance, the Show 'N Shine participants had to once again be divided into first and second gen categories for the Street class.

In the first Gen class, DreamWeaver brought home first place and club newcomer Robert Mattia took 3rd.

The competition in the second gen street class was stiff. Dave Collins' "Baby Blue" brought home 2nd place, with first place going to Taz's perennial '67.

Primer Donah brought home 1st in the full custom class.

"Baby Blue" also won for best use of neon and LED in the Bright 'N Shine competition.

The "Mystery Machine" took the coveted Kid's Choice award.

I'm sure I've left someone out and can't find the official list of winners posted anywhere as of yet.

I just got a call from Taz at the CofC in CA. His group has just secured hosting the 40th Van Nationals. In addition, he wants the Vintage Chevy Van Club to host the 40th Nats Warm-up Party! (July 9-11)

The official announcement will be made later today (Saturday), but he wanted me to pass along the great news.

We're going to need volunteers!
