    Thanks for the reply i will do a search for your thread on this i looked closer at the shift linkage and i don't think there was a bolt looks like it

    Clean Out/ Recovery

    since the pan is already off, i would pull the shift lever out to work on it. how far away a tranny shop or salvage yard is would determine how much time
