    The VCVC is a community of Vintage Chevy Van owners, a resource center for Early Chevy Van parts and information, and is one of the largest active van clubs in the world today. With members in nearly every state and five countries, the Vintage Chevy Van Club represents early Chevy owners, worldwide.

    The club became official on January 1998, and the Vintage Chevy Van Club's site was launched that same month. With no specific focus on vintage vans of any make up til that time, the club began to establish a very loyal membership of vanners from around the country.

    Whether you have one Chevy van, a dozen earlies, or no vintage van at all; if you are in love with the 1964-1970 Chevrolet G-Series Van, you just found home.

    Overhaulin at the 40th Van Nationals

    ATTENTION all early van owners… Overhaulin is coming to the 40th Van Nationals. We’re going to have a second generation Chevy van build. The build is going to be a 700-R4 modification with a throttle body injection system to go with it. Completing this overhaul will include a B&M shifter install as well as power windows and felts to accompany it. I also heard something about a new glove box install and something about a windshield as well.


    This will be a hands-on, where you can ask the build crew, whatever you want, plus see for yourself just how this all goes together. Be sure to watch for information on just where and when this will take place during the Warm-up Party for the 40th Van Nationals. Trust me; you will all be within a walk and a beer from this amazing build.


    Many thanks go out to the people who made this build possible, right before your eyes. That list is just too long to put here but, they will all get their kudos if you know what I mean.

    Seems like it. Although I suppose different bushings might accommodate 2 different king pin diameters in the same hole. But I recall the G10 bushings

    The king pin kits are two different part numbers, G20 uses a larger pin. So, I would say the beam is different.

    Spindle question

    Is the actual axle beam different on the 3/4 ton (6 lug) from the 1/2 ton (5 lug) vans? Maybe you (CanVanMan) could just swap out the steering knuckle/spindle
