David Garrett's 1968 Sportvan

"Well, I finished putting a small block 350 in my van. Now she's quiet a hot rod with pocket heads,
a pretty radical cam, a 4 barrel q-jet, and hedders. The engine is low compression so I can still
run 87 (octane) without any pinging and it runs great. At first she ran a little hot but I made a
shroud out of aluminum which made a big difference. I left the original 3 speed tranny and
a high performance pressure plate." -David
