Roger Moyles told me once the early bumper core charge was at least $50? Thanks.

Scored a very clean set of cab doors for the "Beast" this weekend.
They have decent gaskets and the wing window rubbers are in nice shape.
The cool thing is somebody converted then to power!!!!!!!!

Here is the passenger side door.......

I also scored a set of solid rear doors.

I have been lusting after a set of these ever since I found my van.....

These are going to need some work to get them right.
I was thinking about selling off the set that where in the openings theses where going.
It looks like I am going back to plan A.Do the body mod that I was planning on doing and just use these as fillers /stand ins until I get the body mods right......

The "Beast" is all ready running better because she knows I am paying more attention to her.......

    Cool

    Tim, here is one picture.

They did cut a large section out of the lower door.I would have done this a little different.A full size outer door panel will also cover this.
They will definitely need some tweaking. It does look like a clean job so far.I am going to need to make up a harness and up grade the switches.(dual switch on the drivers side).

    Cool

Not as of yet.I really have not had a chance to go over these door that close YET.
I want to pull the top panel and see what I can see.
The switches look like earlier Chevy ones.
before they used the pin type plugs behind them.
I have had a couple things keeping me busy here.I am itching to get to work on them......

The doors look like the ones off the No Door that the guy was parting out about a year ago in Maryland? I tried to buy the whole van he said it went to a scrapper:-((

    Cool

I put some power to them yesterday, they went up and down nice.
Looking for a clean looking loom to run between the door and the door frame.

I remember when that van was up for sale.
My money tree was not baring fruit so I never went to look at it.

These doors came from a owner near the Md/PA line. They have been in storage for quite some time......

Wookee - that slide show is awesome! It's great to see where you started and how far you've come. Can't wait to see the grill mod once your through with it.

PS - I've seen some parts powder coated in "gunmetal" that look really cool. I've thought going that route as opposed to chrome - just haven't pulled the trigger. Something to think about.
