    Cool

Jumped in the Beast Saturday after she sat for close to 6 months straight.
    She fired right over.
Drivers side tire was a little low on air.We took a ride up to the local Sheets store and filled the tire up.
The throttle peddle was a little stiffer than normal.I soaked the Loud peddle pivot down with some Liquid Wrench.
They are calling for rain here the next three days. That will help wash the remaining White Death off of the road.
Other than the stiff peddle she ran pretty good.
Time to start driving her again........

    Cool

My "Daily Driver" has been down all week.
The "Beast" has been called back into action.
She has done well so far.Throttle is a little stiffer than I would like.I soaked the pivot in the floor down with some Liquid Wrench.
I have a hardware store here that carries a different stock of items than your chain style hardware stores.I am going to stop in there today to see if I can find a heavier return spring to go from the peddle pivot to the grill area...
I treated the gas this season with Lucas gas additive. It looks like it helped.

    Cool

After two solid years of setting out side I gave the "Beast" her first sponge bath.
I did find a couple minor imperfections.
One due to sheet metal old age. The other due too a company that takes care of my yards mistake.
Over all she looks decent still.
Tomorrow I plan on driving her to a small Van event in Pa.
two hours one way with a break for breakfast on the way too the event.
Borderline Truckers holds a Van Blessing every year.
I have taken Big Red the last year or so.
This will be my first Van event I have been able to drive a Van too.
Looking forward too spending time with Vanner friends....

    Cool

    Saturdays ride went well.
Having driven late model rides the last two years .I had to learn how to drive the "Beast" all over again.
By the end of the ride we where in sync will each other.
I had a very enjoyable day........
