    where do these buyers go? there is such a wealth of information here. it's probably because the vans you two sold were in such fine mechanical condition.

    Hey Ken, hope all is well with you and yours. I'm not an Engineer. I am an electrician. Electricians can qualify to move the equipment (locomotives/passenger cars) in and around the yards and maintenance shops if you bid for the job and qualify witch I did. It's pretty cool to operate all the different trains we have here. Its also good to get out from in under and around these things and just enjoy the ride sometimes lol.

    DW, your van was a beauty and and inspiration when I was building mine. I don't know how after the many years that you owned it that you could part with it. It would be nice to see the vans we sold again.

    I can't even describe how good it felt to hear from the current owner of my old 70 GMC no door. I really had thought it had gone to the crusher.

    Not only is it alive, it has paint. I know that MM clones are a touchy subject, but with his back story it made perfect sense. I hope to see the van and owner at a van run someday soon!

    i'm not sure how long i could look at the green color and still be able to stand it. something about that color does something to my brain.
