    That looks cozy.

The '68 will become an 'indoor van' once it comes back. We don't have the snow and salt you guys get, but we get enough rain to rust plastic.

The '66 is now the daily and we're heading to Baton Rouge tomorrow for a quick one-day job on a film.

They do the same here, pre-treat the roads with brine and then salt. It's horrible. Cincy is one area that doesn't see massive snowfall regularly like the lake-effect areas do, so if we get even a threat of snow everyone freaks out and they salt the entire city and then everyone automatically forgets how to drive and mass hysteria ensues.

    Yes they do.

Cinci is bad when it rains! They shut down when it snows. I need to get my van in the garage so I can cut and weld a ton of metal on it. I need to get back on this project instead of walking past it on a daily basis.

    ron,
they use a liquid calcium chloride up here to pre-treat, which i'm sure is about the same in conneticut. after 5 or 6 years, it really corrodes the underside of any vehicle. being an inspection mechanic here in maine, it is amazing how quickly i see it render fasteners and sheet metal muffller guards useless.

    Cool

They just started pre treating the roads here as far as I know.
It actually seamed to make the roads even slicker until the came back with salt.
While i have only driven the "Beast" once while the roads still had salt on them.
(last year to get ready for a show in February)
she has how ever set out in the snow with no ill effects........

This years she is resting comfortably in a nice warm body shop.......
