How to paypal WITHOUT incurring fees....

To send money without incurring fees....choose Send Money & then "I'm sending money to family or friends".

then input the amount, USD-US Dollars & the email address it's going to.

Review your payment and send money. it should say $0.00 for the fees.

I will send you the amount you need to put in the amount box. It will be the price of the shirt plus shipping.

If you want to send a check or money order, let me know and we can do that too.

If you use this 'no fee' feature too much, it sends up a red flag and they will call you out on it. It only a 60 cent charge for sending $20.00. Not too bad for the price of security.

When you are not in the USA there are fees for everything and anything on paypal, no escape. I can't even fart without having to pay some stupid fee.

    paypal

I'm pretty sure either the sender or receiver will have to pay. If you send to a family member and not paying for services, the sender will incur the fees. At least thats how it always worked for me. VERY IMPORTANT PERSONAL LESSON LEARNED BY ME. I once sent a payment to a person whom I did not know for some kind of part I needed. He requested I send it as a "family money gift" or some crap like that, so he wouldn't incur paypal taking their cut. I had to pay for the fees. (he was not a vanner and no one from this site) needless to say, I never received what I was promised. When I called to dispute the charge, I was told since I was sending cash and not for purchasing an actual item, I was out of luck. I eventually complained to my credit card and was refunded, but it was a pain in the ass. If you withdraw directly from your bank account, that could be a problem... I don't know if their policies have changed since then. From that point on I never sent cash again. I would rather pay the fees the receiver would incur and have some peace of mind... my @ cents

Jeff, you only pay a fee for sending to family/friend if you use a debit/credit card , 2.9%, and you can choose if you or the recipient pays the fee.
If you use your bank account or paypal balance, there is no fee.

You can open a dispute through paypal. They give the seller 30 days to respond, so it does take awhile. I've only had to do that once. It took over 5 weeks to get reimbursed, but I did get all my money back.
