No, these Tail light trim rings, (Chevy truck) do not fit into the hole. I had to modify them but they look nice.

No, the holes were a little closer together. I was able to use the front hole but drilled and tapped another for the rear. (These are from the back doors of a nova with ashtrays)
I like these better than the stock type which I don't have.

I used the backings that someone else installed with the camo, it is a thin wood I've used before from Home Depot, I think it's Luan, also called "door skin" material.
The material I'm using is hardtop vinyl from UFO (upolstery fabric outlet) with no padding.
The hard part was pulling the staple's material and foam from the wood and sanding it smooth. It might have been easier to cut new one's but they fit nice so I re-used them.
I did have to make the new corner pieces because they were broken and had speaker holes in them.

I will have to cut out new ones for all the doors, my Van didn't have any in it except the driver door was there.

Ohms read 33-240 not the correct 0-30 ohm, Maybe it's the zip ties aren't making a proper ground? I ordered one I think will work today,

Of course the new Impala sender and tube were different and also the mounting flange, I was able to take the sender off of the mew unit and solder it onto the old tube assembly.

If you're asking about the mirriors? I bought them new from a vendor at the swap meet, I did see them listed in a catalog from "Mooneyes".
These are sold by "Pacific United" "Classic British MG style fender mirror" Part #'s C5050L & C5058R.

I had some extra wheels for sale on cl. a guy saw them on the Van and wanted to buy it. I told him it's not done and I would want at least $8000 for it if I sold it, I thought he would back away but He came over today with the cash and drove it away.
I made a couple bucks and still have the '65 Panel, now I can build the V-8 I wanted.(tomorrow I'm going to go look at a 4x4 '69. I might by that?
    Pictures today before it left.

The new owner came by today, carb problem,(one of the reasons I sold it) I helped him out and gave him the number to a real mechanic.
He took out the tint and upgraded the stereo, I asked if he wanted to sell it back, He said no.

I saw Frank again, he got the bumpers re-done in Mexico for $300, they look pretty good, he also got a rear seat and gave me my wheel well covers back, he also changed the wheels. That's one of the coolest things about these Vans, after you buy one, you make it Yours!Click image for larger version.

If there is an automotive paint supply in your area, take a small part off the van that has the color you want and they can mix it to match.
