Last night my sleeve got hooked onto the ear of what was left of my horn ring and broke it off.

Even though the ring was missing when I got the Van, I liked having the ears attached. I cut off the other side and ground both sides down evenly. I looks OK, just not complete.

When I painted the Van I did not do the roof, I was going to have it blasted because it is so big, had some rust and everything needed done on a ladder. Last weekend I decided to strip it down, I put a coat of rust stopper, than 2 days later, taped it off and sprayed sealer, another day and it got primer and paint.

It took longer to tape off the van than to paint.

takes even longer to wet sand and buff if you don't tape off everything correctly.

    Cool

    That work looks good...
I have suffered from unfinished roof syndrome for a few years....
Its a "van thing". A life style you have to live to understand!!!!
