Does anyone have a digital file for a second gen one? I'd like to take a shot at making one myself.

Those Camaro "buttons" look a lot like ours but I'm pretty sure they require a larger hole. Our vans have 1/4" holes. I've looked for an exact match but they all seem to be made for the bigger holes.

Hmm, I never thought of it until now but we could just drill our holes bigger to match these newer buttons!

I've managed to acquire enough of the stock ones to make up for those of mine I broke. After 50 years the plastic is so brittle, you've got to use extreme care to remove them. The edges can break if you try to just pry up on one side. The tip usually breaks off when you try to pull them out of the metal. One thing that helps is to push on the backside with a small 3/16" socket, so your pushing it, not just pulling from the front. Trouble is, I think the only two you can get at the backside of are the one by the vent and the one above that, from the outside through the small upper "grill" openings.

Hopefully for clarification you are talking about the quietride product that is bad.

The REM product is a different part and is spot on. Below is a photo of their item:

Note. I only pushed out the right headlight cutout; they practically fall out on their own.

Do you know of a re-seller and part #? REM doesn't seem to sell them direct.

Well that catches me off guard - I sent an email to REM asking for some details....

    Vendor (REM) feed back

"... The part number is (CTK-FWP-054) since this is a new part most of our vendors may not be aware of it so it would be ok to have them call us and we may direct them to a vendor or sell to them ourselves."

Awesome, thanks. I e-mailed them about an hour ago per your suggestion but I can follow with that part number if need be.
