    Cool

    Being a "Top Loader".
    The shifter would have to stay where it is at.
    No external shifter linkage.
    Just a guesstamate,,The shiftier would cone up just behind the cab seats.
    Pretty nice complete unit...

    1. Would the trans work if it was rotated 90 degrees left ????? Fluid Level ?

    2. 4.3 V6 pushed forward as far as possible would the shifter make it into the dog house

    1) The bolt pattern of the trans isn't square, so it would require a custom fabbed bellhousing, and the fluid would probably not lubricate the trans correctly

    2) it might get close, but a 4.3 is only about 4" shorter than a 350.
