About how much does it cost to ship a side/rear door in a bicycle box, cross country?
I have six I need to get rid of.

    Cool

Gray Hound is reasonable.I got a quote from them for like 70.00 to ship a cab door to the pacific north west.
The only problem is the customer needs to have a bus terminal near by...

Derick (Defole) shipped me 4 bare doors (no glass, no guts, hardware) via USPS, and it actually was quite reasonable. The mail carrier delivered right to my door. I don't recall the exact cost, but IIRC he shipped from Arkansas. He padded the corners, but that was it. He wrote my name and address directly on the door metal with a sharpie! LOL

The key was removing all the glass, locks, rods, etc. from the doors to lighten them up. The doors themselves are under the max dimension size for USPS, so they will ship them.

I'm pretty sure USPS would still ship 'em, but those would be more $ because they weigh more with all the guts in them and the glass.
