    67 fan shroud

Anyone have a fan shroud? Mine is missing about a 4" section off the top. Thanks

It has a 350 in it now, running the original 6 cyl radiator and shroud.

Unless you have a long extension on that fan to get it inside the shroud, the shroud isn't going to do much anyway. The V8 shroud is much deeper than the 6. BTW, have you considered going electric?

Here is what it looks like now with a flex fan. I have thought about an electric fan in addition, my temp creeps up on hot days.

That doesn't look like the factory shroud to me. The stock shroud doesn't have ribs.

Ok, well I guess I don't know what I need then. I had just figured it was the original shroud, since the rad was. Maybe I will just try patching the missing piece with something. It is kinda sketchy working on it while running with that exposed spot.

The factory shroud does pop up from time to time, but they are hard to find in good shape. Wookee was getting them repopped in fiberglass a while back, but I don't know if he has any plans of starting up again.

in the one engine photo there is a plastic gas filter we here think that is a bad idea, engine vibration can wear through the plastic start an engine fire!!

    Metal would be better !!

Agreed! It is on there temporarily, I was cleaning out gas tank and wanted a visual as to what was going on.
