    Wheel and tyre loadings

I'm looking to replace the wheels/tyres on my 68 90" nodoor. What wheel load weighting and tyre load index should I be looking for?
I know they should be 5 x 4.75 stud pattern but what size should the centre bore on the wheels be?
    Cheers

Tyers? Come to think of it our vans don't have bonnets or wings, but we do have tyres. (I watch a lot of Wheeler Dealers and the guys and girl at Goblin Garage)

        tires & rims

Assuming this is for a 5 lug...

        Front: Cragar S/S 15x7 (PN #61715), 225/60r15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A
        Rear: Cragar S/S 15x8 (PN #61815), 295/50r15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A

Don't forget the 7/16 x 20 mag style lug nuts and cragar washers

if you want the big & little look, you can substitute 14x7 front wheels (PN #61714) and 235/60r14 tires up front. However, some 14" wheels won't fit disc brakes.

          Center bore

Would it be bad if the center bore on the rim was a larger diameter than the hub?

many run larger bore wheels without issue but to be safe, spend 5 bucks on hub centric rings! without them, your studs and lug nuts carry the weight. I have lost wheels or broke studs several times and know of dozens who had the same issue an it was ALWAYS with aftermarket or wrong center bore wheels. 5 bucks for all 4, cheaper than new studs or a egged out wheel!

I have run cragars and other mag wheels on countless vehicles for decades, and never had a problem with it. I've never used hub centric rings or anything like that. The center bore just needs to be same size or larger than your hub so the wheel mounts flush to the hub's mounting surface.. You do need to make sure to get the right lug nuts (and washers if required) for whatever rim you are using.

Yes. They are 2 inches bigger than the OG 13 inch rims. Im not looking for anything fancy just a little larger rim for an easy to steer smooth ride, with a stock look.
