Thanks, I need this type of cap, just with the GMC instead of Chevy. Its the flat cap that fits into the deluxe wheel. Please post if it is a flat cap.

I actually have a nice GMC horn cap that is not a deluxe.

Its the flat GMC cap that is rather hard to find, I have only seen one awhile ago. I contacted that person but they may not visit anymore.

I may just have to have the Chevy in my GMC... for the future horn ring addition. LOL I still am waiting... I know it's coming soon. I believe... I believe... good horn rings come to those who believe.

that is super rare. Its for the 1st gen GMC horn ring. Would have come only on 65 or 66 Handibus custom or deluxe models

I saw a van for sale awhile ago for about $5000, I thought about buying it just to take the horn ring out of it then re-sell the van. It was too far away and the van was kinda trashed but it did have the horn ring in it.

I am sure someone here has researched this - - - - but - - - to my way of thinking, there is just no way GM produced these horn rings JUST for Vans - - - Corvairs??? Chevy II's ???other trucks ????

The link you posted is definitely not a first gen horn ring for our vans. A person unfamiliar with it might think they scored and start bidding on it. Those rings would make a nice alternative. But I have seen our horn ring in one other make/model besides 65-66 deluxe or custom vans. I've seen it on corvair vans. But, don't know if that is original for select deluxe versions of greenbrier vans or if certain owners just adapted our horn ring to use on their van. It is like a nice jewel piece to finish off that shiny project. I keep looking at interior pictures of greenbrier vans for sale in lookout for a horn ring but no luck in that pursuit so far.
