    Stock battery cover needed

I need a stock battery cover, similar to this one I pulled off Google (but hopefully not as crusty). Since I’m widening the doghouse and my Sportvan didn’t have the side step, it makes the most sense to put the battery under the floor. Thanks!!!

I had the same problem, I made a frame and mounted mine under the floor without the cover needed. it goes in from underneath.

My '65 had one similar to this under the drivers side because it had a step still in place.

Thanks for the info and the pics! When I build the battery tray, I’ll definitely be using yours as reference, Russell. I’ll wait until I see Mike and grab the cover he has offered.
