People claim "17,000 original miles" when it is obviously BS ?

Just from looking at the weatherstripping and the overspray and bondo at the left lower corner of the window...

Looks like a rattle can paint job to me. Also see rust and dent damage low in the rockers, especially under the driver's door.

Good luck to whoever believes this seller's "17k mile" nonsense

I like the Dymo label over the speedo, "Do not exceed 45mph".
Is that with a piano in the back?

I was thinking similarly. There appears to be missing metal around where the door pillar meets the floor. At 54 years old, a 17k mile van is going to look completely different from that.

If the seller is going to lie about that... what else is he going to lie about? Probably pretty much everything!

Very few pictures of this van. Another red flag. When you list an item for sale on ebay, you can post up to 12 pics for free. And for vehicles, I think they allow up to 24. So why only post a couple?... unless you are trying to deceive?

"original paint is chalky", how would you know? was repainted with wrong paint or zero prep ad it is pealing. that was then painted over again with no prep or slightest attempt to wash off the loose paint and even then, so many runs that I doubt he ever touched a can of spray paint in his life! lack of pics, no engine, interior or even decent body shots. even the odometer pic is missing the first digit! even the replacement steering wheel is junk. it should be illegal to even post that ad!

The original paint probably is chalky, you just can't see it for the 10 coats of house paint over it.
