    This might be for me

    Hi all,
Found this van in my searches. Only $2000.00. Curious to see if it’s still available. What’s got me wondering is: under “description” it says it’s a ‘65 g10 1/2 ton deluxe and then under “year” it says it’s a 1970. Anyone seen this van before?
    Looking for your guy’s opinion.

    Thanks much. G10 guy

Although the van above can’t compete with the fuzzy feelings that the van below gives me.

    thanks again.

Its not a 1970. It for sure needs a second look.
For 2k, go see it. Thats a great deal if its not all bondo...

Can anyone confirm...could 1st gens come with a 4 speed?
    That might be a modification.
Get the VIN and ask for more pics.

Thanks. My biggest hurdle with this van thus far is that itís 2000 miles from me. Any advise on how to proceed will be much appreciated. First thing is Iíll need to see if the van is still available.
    thanks again

    No dice,
Sellers’ email address is invalid. Also if I’m understanding it correctly the ad was claiming that it had airbags, anti-lock brakes, power locks, 53000 miles. I’m guessing this van is a farce...a fantasy.

in your opinion is this ad legit? The sellers’ ad was placed on adpost.com and joining adpost.com may be the only way to contact the seller. Any guidance would be great.
    thanks much

seems like a bogus ad, but good luck. Even 30 years ago a van like that would be worth more than $2k. I've never heard of "adpost". My bet would be that it is 100% fake

I think I would stay away from ads like that. You would have better luck on Craigslist , donít get me wrong you still have to be careful. The ideal thing would find a van that is not far from you and you can actually look at it . Transporting any vehicle can get expensive.
