    worst place for a spare

Still possibly like a good deal though. V8-Auto, a th350 would have come factory in '70.

    Thumbs up

    Got hired at Ft. Irwin!

I'm actually really liking the high desert. Hoping to buy a house in Apple Valley soon.

haven't met him. I understand he finally sold his van?

An exciting update is I made an offer on a house, and it was accepted. We are now working on a loan. I have never bought a house before, so I am very excited, and nervous too. Its alot of money to deal with.. but we've got to live some place, and at this point of my life, I have a family and need to own instead of renting forever

That's great, I remember buying my first home, sure felt like I was in the dark
with all the documents to check out and sign, only bad part of owning is when it
needs repairs it's on you, and if you let it a house will fall dawn around you. Still
glad I took the leap. Hope it goes smoothly for you

    Joe,
Itís the best decision you will ever make. Nerve racking just the same. But the equity you generate can sometimes be working capital as well. Yes repairs suck and do cost a lot. Start just as you did with youíre van , hard work persistence and sweat pays off. Good luck and congratulations my friend
