The Freeky Van next to the Wedgie van.
Bill stopped by yesterday and we drove over to a local pub. It was just a short cruise but awesome just the same. Plans are being hatched to upgrade his 66 display van. There's a 3 speed OD on the bench just waiting for me to finish the mount. We'll take care of a few other items, some small and some not so small. The goal is to make the Freeky Van a long-distance roadworthy machine. Looking forward to some road trips this summer. We plan to have a few mini-rallies on the west coast. Bill and I had fun cooking at the Missouri rally and we are planning to do the same type of thing again. I'll deal with the mechanical issues before we go but maybe instead of parking outside a pub, we should be driving both of these rigs to a body shop!

Always a good time hanging out with Mark. His knowledge and enthusiasm is inspiring. If all goes well the show will be coming to a town near you. Here are some more pics.

    Cool

My Early was the first vehicle I have ever owned that drew just as much attention in her unfinished state (primer ) as it does with a decent coat of paint on her.
    Van on you two....
Its a "van thing". A life style you have to live to understand!!!!
