There is no difference between a standard wheel and a deluxe wheel (only the horn ring) What ledZeppvan has is a 2nd gen wheel with a 1st gen standard horn button installed into it.

2nd gen wheel has the cut recess around the top to clear the 2nd gen horn button.

1st gen wheel (same as a corvan wheel) has no recess around the top

Thanks M1dadio for the explanation. Good to know if there were differences between standard or deluxe and the difference between 1st and 2nd gen. Sorry Jacke, I saw I mispelled your name on last post.

Here are some side by side photos... yep the inside/outside is different on each lip, standard seems slightly larger and the depth is different inside. I believe like M1 said 2nd Gen mixed with 1st Gen... that's how I got it.
The standard wheel... I thought was a deluxe, was not. LOL... but, I did have a deluxe wheel, just had to restore it.
I never noticed the difference until trying to install the horn ring onto the wrong wheel. Then it was obvious, even to me! LOL
All is right now that I have the correct wheel and horn ring. And a tiny bit more knowledge.
