    Rust concerns on a 65 g10

    Hi,
    Is the van below legit?
    https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/c...893890842.html

In the pics below it looks like two different vans. On one pic , the van below the basketball hoop has rust and the other no rust and is a darker grey. I’m guessing the darker grey van is the same van but with a newer coat of paint but not 100% sure

    Cool

Ok it looks like the first picture was shot before a fresh coat of primer was applied.
The picture below was shot in and open area for a better cleaner picture.....

Its a "van thing". A life style you have to live to understand!!!!

    Cool

It does look like the current owner was using black paint to see how straight the body was in certain places...

There are missing parts and the rear valance panel behind the non factory rear bumper is suffering from rust issues.
    Typical 1st gen rust issues...

The price used to be high for a 1st gen suffering from these rust issues...
Looks like she also has a tail light out.the add read like she could be a "driver"
She is located in the Pacific North West.
Figure transportation costs if you do pull the trigger on this little gen

he drove it out in the yard, sprayed rattle can primer on without any prep work and snapped a pic before the paint dried! this adds zero value but adds curb appeal. probably not meant to hide anything more than enough to get a potential buyer to stop and look.

Bigger concern is the nose, it looks a bit smushed on the driver side.

    Question

I'm confused why you are now wanting this panel van, when for the past months you've been wanting a 1st gen sportvan... now there is a very clean 1st gen sportvan available, relatively close to you for about 1/2 price of this panel van, but oddly you're not interested?
