    Can you use orig 14 in wheels and use orig master cylinder with disc mod.

    have to use 14 inch wheels designed for disc brakes, so 73 and up gm mid size car wheel
    i used the factory master cyl and porp valve, just changed the front hoses with ones for
    3 gen chevy van
    54 chevy panel truck 355 tpi 700r4 325/9in
    64 chevy 90 5.7 tpi 700r4 336 8.2
    69 chevy panel van 5.7 tbi 700r4 336 8.2

    You can use the stock 2nd gen master cylinder, but low-profile one with a smaller bore will give you more pressure.

    In my experience, 14" wheels do not fit over the M1D disc brake conversion. Even my 15" cragars required me to grind down the calipers for clearance.

    I am running 14" Torque Thrusts, (no longer made)standard off-set - - - as with Kookie's thread, there was some grinding

    I have front disc on my 66. I wanted to keep the 14" rim look. I'm using 14" steel rims from an 80s Oldsmobile that had disc brakes. They fit nicely and have the same front face allowing my hubcaps to be installed. My 14" cragars fit as well. So, stock won't fit, but there are other 14" from disc break cars that will fit.
