Working my a$$ of to get this painted!

Well, I've been working all winter to get this ready to paint before my knee replacement last April. Now I've been busting my butt to get it painted.

Roof is all flaked and I've spent the last few days taping off panels and the rockers for flake. The roof and panels will match the flaked drivers compartment.

The sad thing about this whole process is that I need to sell it when it's done. I have too many projects that need my attention and no $$$. I still have the '92 Chev van to keep vanning with and my plans are to take some of the money and find a 1st or 2nd gen project that I can build my full custom, airbagged vision that has been rolling around in my head since I built Dazed and Confused! This van was suppose to be that project, but I had to sell Dazed and then this one turned into a mild custom. So, after all this work I hope I can get a decent price so I can get busy on these other ideas!

A little more progress. Still have to sand and panel the roof. Then sand the whole van, clear it and then sand and buff!

That looks fantastic! Love the inserts (or whatever they’re called). They are a great accent.

    That looks great!

and Ya; paint work is a hell of a lot of labor which equates to alot of money if you have to pay somebody else to do it.

Great work, you are almost done.

A little update on the paint job. Got the roof paneled and now just have to wet sand and buff and then get everything pinstriped!

Not sure how to rotate them.
