I'm working on my 69 Sportvan, factory 307, TH 350. Does anyone have info or diagrams on adjusting the column shift linkage? Mine don't want to stay in park

are the bushings allowing too much slop? when you adjust, set tranny in park and lever 'almost' in park. purposely to tight to see if it will actually stay or if your detent is worn off. mine was rounded enough that it would pop out of park, I cleaned it up with a die grinder and file to make a sharper and deeper detent (don't go overboard). hopefully someone else will post pics of bushings and/or link to buy them. many, including myself, have assumed both dead center in park is good. you need it just a hair tight to 'easily' drop in park.
