Nice progress! Can't wait to feel the Clifford and headers in my install going down the road as well. I won't be welding my own pipes though, I'll leave it to the pros. I'm just wondering if I'm going to tow it or drive it without pipes and mufflers 2 miles down to the muffler shop. You did an awesome job! Wish I could do it myself. How did the transmission shifts feel? 2004r right?

thanks. couldn't find a pro, they all retired or up and died! just getting it to fit in the first gen box was hard enough, then add pipes for intake heat, tranny and linkage, then end up 1/2" below tranny crossmember and still be level and parallel with each other! no $10/hr employee would of done it right. besides, my van is built, not bought. actually sounded better with short pipes and no mufflers. 200r4 was spot on, then I swapped in the 4.10 rear. more torque dropped the shift points. then all this, lots more torque so shifts lower yet. it isn't bad, just liked it revving a little higher so eventually get a higher stall converter and lighten the governor. not today though!

maybe post a video over the weekend when I have a passenger. it sounds good on the road. has a rumble but not loud during normal cruising, similar to a v-8. jump on it and gets load and nothing like an 8. in my video I posted, I did hold it at 2500 to show cruising rpm's and up to 5000 and let off to show how it sounds when I get on it and the crackle when I let off.
