'67 108 v8/Auto lifted camper/surfer van on eBay NO RESERVE

    Hey gang,

I'm selling my '67 to raise money to put into my other projects. Its a sweet daily driver, and will be featured in next year's VCVC Calendar.

Its a real auction, no joke starts at .99 cents with NO RESERVE. so everyone go bid!

The high bidder flaked, but I sold it to a guy in LA for $6k. I kind of thought it would go higher too, but I am happy with whatever. $6k is ok though. The fun of a real auction is we get to see what the actual market value is.

I've been watching prices, and I'm getting the feeling prices on vans in general have peaked.

not just vans. muscle cars, collector cars and Harleys all became the rage but seems to be falling off. while i liked them gaining popularity, never cared for 'posers' buying an image just because it is what others think is cool, think of what a 'biker' was 10-20 years ago compared to the business man in is biker drag/costume today. vans went up slower and later, don't think they will ever drop back to even prices a few years ago but would agree they peaked and when the next must have toy comes along, the vans will be sold for less than they paid.

Sometimes non essential items rise and fall in in economic cycles . Maybe people are expecting an eventual recession ? Bill
