    Cool

While western vans have really nice looking lower body panels.Rockers and stuff...
More than one have nasty rood rail rust damage.
Remember the factory dried out roof sealer has caused this damage by retaining water to the factory sheet metal...
Fix remove what rust damage you can.Seal the repairs with a good product that will not only stop the rust but also seal that area.
A good quality paint over every thing also will help to seal the area....
Its a "van thing". A life style you have to live to understand!!!!

    Sandy,
Windshield is coming out at body shop. New one will be ordered.
I have the new seal and an entire nose from another van if necessary...
Thanks for contributing! This is another area that your van needs attention to people!!
This is just a bad design. Water runs right into the seal. If the seal is still original on your van,
you might want to look closer at it. My fingers are crossed there isnt anything lurking.

    Wook,
Exactly right. If you see a tiny crack between the sealer in the rail and the edge and/or the roof,
its time to address the issue. The water is getting under the sealer and sitting there...

I like a nice dry bed.
