    Gauges

    Hello all,
    Wasn’t sure were to post this thread.
    Of the images below what’s with the gauges? Strange place for gas,odometer, speedometer.

    "what's with the gauges"? You'd have to ask the owner I guess. I usually try to put em under the dash. Some mechanical water temp gauges do not have enough length to go under the dash, so maybe that was the case here why they got located on top of the DH

    well ; those gauges are obviously set up for the Fight Engineer to monitor the engines.

    When I got my Van, you can see they had the gauges were mounted to the front of the Doghouse, also you can see they moved the parking brake handle. seems like a lot of work to move the handle. I think it was because of the length of the heat wire as mentioned before. I re- mounted the brake handle to the original spot and also have my gauges under the dash now.

    The tunnel helped with running the temp and oil lines from the engine to the dash.
